For Northern sailors haul out season has either arrived or
is approaching. One of the most important tasks to
accomplish as haul out season is an oil change. Oil should
be changed every 150 hours or on a seasonal basis.
One of the important reasons to change the oil is to avoid
having your engine sit the winter with dirty, used and
contaminated oil. An oil change at haul out coats your
valuable engine with fresh, clean oil.
Along with the oil the oil filter should be changed. For
Yanmar marine diesel owners Torresen Marine has a complete
stock of oil filters and engine oil.
